Morning tricks to lose weight faster
Are you ready to lose weight? Get more energy? Do these four things every morning to see some weight loss every single week! But before I go into the details on the four things, I want to clear:
Excuses: The excuses, I have them and you have them. It’s about you wanting it and what you want to achieve and knowing you can do it. Remember your body should be your number 1 priority it’s your engine, you can ruin it or you can maintain and make it the fastest and badest engine!
Action and discipline yourself: Do it – make a plan!
Consistency: It’s about what you do every day, not just once or twice a week, what we do every day, is what shows results you are looking for.
And now, the four simple things you need to do every morning!
#1: Get Hydrated Drink Lemon Water!
Every single morning, before breakfast, drink 32 ounces of water with the juice of half a lemon (or a whole lemon if you want more flavor). This will give you energy, help your digestion, and reduce excess water and bloating in your system. Give you more energy and your whole body is gonne function better, plus your skin will love it too.
Move your body, doesn’t matter where you are, start with a walk, jogging, hikes, or dance in your living room. We were designed to move, so think about how awesome you’ll feel and make goals, how many miles you want to walk/run, and try to stick to it. Get some easy work out for at home, 10 min, 20 min, 30 min etc. so you don’t have the excuse no time to drive to the gym in the morning.
#3: Fruits and Veggies
One of my favorite smoothies is delicious and simple to make. Contains everything you need for a great start of your day!
2 bananas – these are full of potassium and refuel your body after you exercise
1 small cucumber – this is very high in water content and rehydrates you
2 cups of spinach – these are full of iron, protein, and calcium
Spinach is one of my favorite superfood with so many incredible benefits; eating spinach regularly will maintain the youth of your skin and slow down age related degeneration, making your skin look younger and rejuvenated. Who doesn’t want that?
Blend these three ingredients with one cup of water, and enjoy while your body enjoys all the benefits!
#4: Take a cold shower
You need it so why not add the benefit of cold water while you take a shower. It’s good for weight loss as well as your skin and hair. Taking a cold shower in the morning gets your heart pumping and jumpstarts your metabolism. The cold temperature causes your body to lose brown fat (the fat in your body that keeps you warm). When you get cold, your body uses energy to keep you warm. Studies suggests starting the first couple minutes of your shower at your favorite temperature, then progressively making it cooler and then warmer. I usually switch warm – cold- warm – cold – 3-5 times every morning. And the cold shower is good for your skin circulation and hair too. Add it to your routine and try for yourself.
